Il gruppo nasce dal chitarrista Andrea"cek" Franceschetti che con i fratelli Paolo Xeres (Batteria) e Marco Xeres (Basso) è attivo con questa formazione dal 2002. Inizialmente il repertorio pesca in personali rivisitazioni di blues elettrico anni 50/60 presenti sul cd demo "Broken&Hungry" (2002). A seguito di un'instancabile attività live nelle zone di origine, iniziano a partecipare a blasonati festivals internazionali.

Nel 2004 anno aperto gli show di Eric Sardinas e del leggendario Dr.John e iniziano a produrre brani originali. Nell'estate 2005 accompagnano in tour LOUISIANA RED e pubblicano il primo lavoro ufficiale: I JUST DON'T KNOW. In queste fresche ed emozionanti canzoni rock-blues la band lavora come un'unica macchina creando un sound puro e convincente.Concerto dopo concerto i Cekout hanno creato un'autentico ed emozionante power trio.
